08.24.2009 - Stacy Fleeman
On Sunday night, August 23rd 2009, Nashville lost one of its original sons of Rock n Roll.
Stacy Fleeman, founder of Nashville’s long-running indie Spat! Records, was instrumental in firestarting the careers of a multitude of local bands and artists. Always the rebel, Stacy refused to go the way of the masses and lived a rockstar lifestyle to the very end. His memory will not soon fade in the minds of his family and friends, and his legacy will live on in the ever expanding success of Spat! Records.
Thank you Stacy for standing behind the fallen, believing in the unbelievable, and for being a driving force of inspiration in so many lives.

05.20.2008 - Charlie Louvin Remixes to be released on XDN Country Music Hall of Fame legend Charlie Louvin of 'The Louvin Brothers' is one of the most influential artists in the history of Country Music. Known for his intricate harmonies and vocal style, Charlie has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville for decades. In 2004, Dustin Michael wrote a song for Charlie Louvin entitled Yesterdays King in which Charlie Louvin provided his beautiful vocals. The song was originally released on 'The Project' album several years ago, but the remixes are set to drop worldwide in 2008 with additional remixes in 2009 and beyond. These remixes are a perfect example of what Nashville Noir and the Experimental Division Nashville are fully capable of producing for Non-Electronic artists - remixes that can be licensed and sold in alternative markets. Music is now at a crossover point where genre no longer exists...creating original sound paves a long road into the future.
